Client: Ixion Holdings: 9 Days
Challenge: Ixion Holdings, a national, not-for-profit, Ofsted ‘Good’ training provider of skills and education. They help individuals and organisations together with the Education and Skills Funding Agency, European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund to bring opportunities for individuals to start work and progress their careers and support employers with bespoke training solutions, entrusted Printress Media with a multifaceted project involving the production of 17 distinct printed items, including brochures, booklets, leaflets, along with an assortment of branded promotional items such as: trolley coins, tote bags, stress balls, USB cards, calendars pens, bottled water and sweets. The project’s complexity was heightened by the varied finishing requirements for each printed item. The challenge was to execute this extensive project seamlessly and deliver all items to the Chelmsford office at Halford House, Coval Lane by the 5th of July 2022, with the artwork being received on the 24th of June.

Artwork and Typesetting: With the artwork received on the 24th of June, our expert team embarked on meticulous typesetting and layout adjustments, ensuring that every detail aligned perfectly with Ixion’s brand identity and design vision.
Approval and Changes: Upon typesetting, a series of revisions and changes were discussed and incorporated to guarantee the final product met Ixion’s specifications. Our efficient workflow facilitated prompt updates and approvals.
Printing and Finishing: Our state-of-the-art printing facilities enabled us to undertake simultaneous production of the diverse range of printed items. We implemented a tailored approach to finishing, considering the specific requirements of each item, including brochures, booklets, and leaflets.
Coordinated Marketing Items: The production of branded marketing items, trolley coins, tote bags, stress balls, USB cards, calendars pens, bottled water, and sweets, was meticulously coordinated. These items were meticulously aligned with Ixion’s branding guidelines.
Quality Control: Each printed item underwent rigorous quality control checks, encompassing colour accuracy, finishing precision, and overall presentation. Our dedication to quality ensured that every item met the highest standards.
Assembly and Packaging: Once all items were printed and quality-checked, our team diligently assembled and packaged the materials into branded backpacks, ensuring ultra-careful attention to detail and consistency.
Timely Delivery: With efficiency as our priority, all items were securely packed and promptly delivered to Chelmsford, well ahead of the 5th of July deadline.
Results: Despite the intricacy of the project and the condensed timeline, Printress Media successfully produced and delivered 17 printed items, alongside branded marketing materials, that aligned perfectly with Ixion Holdings specifications.
